Terms of Service

BuyMeKola ("BuyMeKola", "we", "us") provides a platform for creators and communities to receive support through shareable pages and payment processing via third parties.

You must be at least 18 (or the age of majority in your location) to use the Services. By using the Services, you represent that you meet this requirement.

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account,
• All activity under your account,
• Providing accurate information.

We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms or suspicious activity.

Creators may publish content on their pages (name, bio, images, goals, links). You agree not to post content that is illegal, misleading, hateful, harassing, infringing, or otherwise harmful.

We may remove content or restrict pages that violate these Terms.

Supporters agree to:

• Provide accurate payment information,
• Not use stolen or unauthorized payment methods,
• Not use the platform for fraud or harassment.

Support messages should be respectful and lawful.

You may not:

• Use the Services for illegal activity or to facilitate harm,
• Impersonate others or misrepresent affiliation,
• Attempt to bypass security, scrape, or reverse engineer the Services,
• Create pages for prohibited fundraising (e.g., scams, illegal goods, violence),
• Upload malware or attempt to disrupt the Services.

BuyMeKola and its branding, designs, and software are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute them without permission.

Creators retain ownership of their content, but grant BuyMeKola a limited license to host, display, and distribute it as needed to operate the Services (e.g., public creator pages and receipt cards).

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle data. By using the Services, you agree to the Privacy Policy.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Services at any time. We may update these Terms, and continued use means you accept the updated Terms.

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BuyMeKola will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill.

Our total liability for claims related to the Services is limited to the amount of fees paid to BuyMeKola for the transaction(s) giving rise to the claim, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

You agree to indemnify and hold BuyMeKola harmless from claims arising out of your use of the Services, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the platform's integrity.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Nigeria (Lagos State). Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Lagos, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
